Thank you for your interest in Mis Manos Montessori School!
The early years (birth through age 6) are a critical time to set a strong foundation for who a child will become and the role she or he will play in the future. A Montessori education develops students who are capable, accountable, knowledgeable people who have the strong sense of self they will need to thrive in the real world. Mis Manos Montessori is a community of families that believe in the Montessori pedagogy and its benefits. If you are only looking for daycare services, this is not the school for you. We encourage you to navigate our website to learn more about the Montessori method, our school and our staff.
Our admission process is designed to help us get to know your family, and to introduce you to our school community and philosophy. Together, we can ensure that our program is a great fit for your child. If you have any questions at any time, please contact us via email at info@mismanosmontessori.com or call us at (520) 498-1700. If you are interested in learning more, please schedule a tour with our school director. At this time, you will meet some of our staff and have the opportunity to see a classroom.
Thanks to the incredible support of our school community, we’re expanding for the 2025–2026 school year! We’re excited to add two more Toddler classrooms, one more Primary classroom, and one Lower Elementary classroom. As a result of this growth, we currently have openings available — but spots are filling quickly!
To reserve your spot, please fill out the online waiting list form. We will do our best to enroll your child as close to the “desired start date” as possible. You can also reserve a spot for children younger than 18 months by submitting a waiting list form.

“There are many who hold, as I do, that the most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when a man’s intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed.” ~ Maria Montessori

Mis Manos Montessori School’s Toddler program is designed to accommodate each child’s sensitive periods, as well as to provide a safe environment for their necessary freedom of expression. Toddlers at Mis Manos Montessori will learn two very important life concepts:
The following areas can be found in Mis Manos Montessori Toddler classroom:
Mornings | 8:30 – 11:30 |
School Day | 8:30 – 3:30 |
In the properly prepared Montessori school, a child is able to “teach” himself through the use of specially designed Montessori materials. The Montessori materials are self-correcting which allows the child to see for herself if an error is made. This allows the child to build confidence by “fixing” the error himself. Self-discipline is gradually acquired through absorption in the meaningful work found in the Montessori prepared environment.Children in Mis Manos Montessori School environment work at their own pace. The classroom is non-competitive and children choose work that is appropriate to the level they are at. Our materials are attractive to the child, and each area within our classroom has a natural progression of developmental challenges for each level of learning. The following areas can be found in Mis Manos Montessori Primary Classroom:
Mornings | 8:30 – 11:30 |
School Day | 8:30 – 3:30 |
In these times, more than ever before, our hope is that education will offer an aid to better the condition of the world. ~Maria Montessori
